The public originally gave school board trustees the power to carry out tasks in our interest. Historically, the board has been required to give 3 reading before the public at 3 meetings (for feedback from the public) before school board bylaws can be changed. The School Board has now done 3 readings at 1 meeting to change the Bylaw to remove the final public question period! Against members of the public speaking against it.
