I went to visit the Balenciaga store inside the gallery in Houston Texas, one of the most prestigious malls in Houston.
It’s not what I saw that opened my eyes to something being very wrong it’s what I did not see. For such a high dollar fashion outlet the inventory is shockingly low and the children’s apparel had only 10 combined mismatch articles of clothing hidden out of sight in an area approximately 3’ x 5’ hanging with nothing matching, almost as though these clothes were in a thrift store, not at all what one would expect from a premium high fashion outlet.
This raises more questions than answers such as,
Why are there so many employees
(I counted 7) in a store with so little inventory?

The employees I observed are certainly not making minimum wage.
