In the mid to late 70s, Ken was giving a different message to Assemblies of God Church Congregations. Faith Healing, Laying on of Hands, Speaking in Tongues, Name it and Claim it and "Better be ready for the Rapture." were all common for us. We were encouraged to watch Oral/Ken, Pat and The 700 Club, Jimmy Swaggart and the rest of them, for further information. I was a teenager in those days.
This was around the same time as Norman Vincent Peale was Preaching, "The Power of Positive Thinking". It found it's way into the Charismatic Evangelical Movement, we called ourselves "Full Gospel" for short. This is also during the build up of Jerry Falwell's Moral Majority Movement.
The Calvary reference is a reference to the Crucifixion. "Heir of God" means the Brother or Sister of Jesus, an "equal" to Jesus.
And Owen, you are 100% correct, Prosperity Gospel is a Greed Doctrine.
