Welcome to part2 of the Citroen C3 WRC by Belkits at 1/24 scale.
In this video ill be demonstrating the painting the body red by scale modelers supplies,
Priming more parts such as wheels, seats, rear spoiler, dash, brakes, rear diffuser for example.
Then of course straight onto painting the wheels, shock absorbers, brakes, doors, dash for example.
Masking the front of the body to paint metallic grey.
Appling decals the seats
One tip I like to mention is to make sure you have as many parts to spray paint when at the booth so that you don't waste paint and thinners for example. It's better have too many parts rather than having too much paint in the airbrush needing to be poured back where it came from.
It's important to paint the carbon fiber parts black just in case the decals don't cover.
Using the curve tape produces a nice edge of the paint.
For me personally, I like to use paper rather than waste heaps of masking tape.
Using the panel liner as a wash helps put more detail into the chassis.
I try to apply as best I can then let it set for 15-30mins then apply more solution and so on until satisfied.

Finishing off the dash with final touches with decals and clear coat by MrHobby. Assembling the roll cage.

As you may notice I have already worked on the body removing the standard road-going fuel filler, rear antenna, indicators on the front quarter panels, and seem lines as well.
I will be using Evergreen Styrene to fill the inner guards.
Reducing the height of the shock absorbers to lower the chassis to the ground.
