Ubuntu 23.10 codenamed "Mantic Minotaur" now has a “minimal by default” installation - and when "everything" is needed, one can click expanded installation. GNOME 45 desktop which Ubuntu comes with uplifts UI and UX experience.
The new installation program is in as also the new App Center software hub, written in modern programming language and so much more.
As this is the final "interim release" before the next LTS (long term support), the changes present are a good indication of what we can expect from that LTS.
