ATLANTIC CITY -- Dash cam footage released Monday shows several officers fire dozens of bullets at a man who started shooting at police after he led them on a 10-mile high-speed car chase.

Police fatally shot 27-year-old Antoquan Watson, of Williamstown, in March of 2014. In 2015, a grand jury declined to indict the seven officers involved in the incident.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said it was releasing the footage following a New Jersey Supreme Court decision earlier this month that ruled dash cam footage of fatal shootings involving police should be made public.

The chase began after police received a report that Watson had brought a gun into Pleasantville's La Esconda II Restaurant, where he was a regular customer known to employees.

A waitress at the restaurant stated that Watson ordered two beers and paid with cash after two credit cards failed, and that he appeared drunk and was mumbling to himself, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Several patrons reported seeing a gun in Watson's right hand as he paid the bill and left the restaurant, and said he pointed the gun toward the ceiling, but did not threaten anyone in the restaurant or aim the weapon in their direction.

Police responded to the restaurant's parking lot and attempted to speak with Watson, who allegedly refused to roll down his window and eventually took off on the Black Horse Pike.

In the dash cam video, officers pursue Watson's black SUV through city streets and along highways as he runs red lights and swerves around other drivers. He led officers through Pl..

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said it was releasing the footage following a New Jersey Supreme Court decision earlier this month that ruled dash cam footage of fatal shootings involving police should be made public.

He led officers through Pleasantville, Egg Harbor Township and Atlantic City, driving between 50 and 85 miles per hour and firing a round at officers while driving, authorities said.

Eventually, Watson's car collides with an uninvolved SUV at an intersection, causing his vehicle to spin around in the middle of the roadway.

Watson then steps out of the vehicle, gun pointed toward officers, and begins firing.

Seven officers, four from Pleasantville and three from Atlantic City, proceed to shoot Watson 45 times, continuing to fire as he falls to the ground, motionless.

In an investigation of the shooting, several officers stated that they believed Watson was wearing body armor, as he was able to continue walking once hit by several bullets, authorities said. An autopsy later revealed that he had PCP in his system.

A use of force expert reviewed the scene and physical evidence, and ruled that the officers had taken lawful action against Watson given the circumstances.

This interview was weaker than the interview of Alec Baldwin. These so called Detectives that conducted this interview proved yet again why NOT TRUST OR HAS FAITH IN ANY COP INVESTIGATION.

Chicago, Illinois — The Civilian Office of Police Accountability released body cam video of a 2020 incident at the Grand Central (25th) District police station in which three officers were shot. Police returned fire and shot the suspect, Lovelle Jordan, in the incident on July 30, 2020. The sentence comes two months after he pleaded guilty to one count of attempted murder and five counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer.

Footage shows officers pulling Jordan from the front seat of a stolen 2018 Porsche and throwing him to the ground. Officers cuff Jordan and tell him they are searching him for weapons. Jordan responds that he does not have any weapons on him. Jordan asks officers to place his handcuffs in the front because he had third-degree burns on his hands. Officers refuse but tell him they will remove the handcuffs once they are at the station. While in the SUV, Jordan was able to move his hands to the front and pulled the gun from his clothes, police said.

For almost four minutes, an officer drives a squad car with Jordan in custody in the back seat – unknowingly armed. When police arrived at the sally port at the station at 5555 W. Grand Ave. on the city's West Side, and an officer opened the door of the SUV to take Jordan inside, Jordan shot the officer in the chin. The officer falls to the ground then rises about two minutes later and fires about two shots before running into the station. Four officers fired shots at Jordan, who eventually fell to the ground, left paralyzed by a gunshot wound.

Jordan had fired at least five shots, striking an officer in the shoulder and neck, prosecutors said. Two other offi..

Las Cruces, New Mexico — The Las Cruces Police Department released body camera video of the officer-involved shooting that resulted in the death of 75-year-old Amelia Baca who was holding two knives in her hands on April 16. Baca, had dementia, according to her family. Police were called after she allegedly was threatening members of the family. In the video, the first officer who approaches the door tells two family members who were with Baca to step out of the house.

As the two women exit the house, one tells the officer Baca is holding knives, is mentally ill and asks him not to shoot her. An officer's body camera captures Baca holding a kitchen knife in each hand. The officer commands Baca multiple times to drop the knives, but she doesn't. The officer, the women and Baca all appear to yell for 40 seconds, then the video provided by the city blurs the final couple of seconds before Baca is shot. Audio from the video shows the officer fired two rounds. The city has yet to release the name of the officer who fired the fatal shots.

Pinellas deputy drives over woman on St. Pete Beach, Sheriff’s Office says
Robin Diffenderfer, 23, was lying in the sand when Deputy Todd Brien, 58, ran over her “right side and mid-to-upper back area” with his front tire Wednesday.
A Pinellas County Sheriff vehicle is pictured on top of the towel where a deputy ran over a 23-year-old beachgoer Wednesday afternoon.

Deputy Todd Brien, 58, was on beach patrol. He had parked his fully-marked 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe behind The Lido, located at 4450 Gulf Blvd., and was speaking to several people on the beach when dispatchers asked him to check on a 911 hang-up call about 1:08 p.m., the agency said in a news release Wednesday night.

Brien turned right and ran over Robin Diffenderfer, who was lying in the sand, the Sheriff’s Office said. Diffenderfer was on her back, and the front, driver-side tire drove over her “right side and mid-to-upper back area,” the news release states.

She was taken to a local hospital with injuries that the Sheriff’s Office described as non-life-threatening.

Anna DePellegrin, 58, who was visiting from Toronto with her family, was on the beach Wednesday afternoon when she heard yelling and screaming. Bystanders were shouting at the deputy to stop, saying he had run someone over, she said. DePellegrin’s husband and son helped the deputy lift the SUV off of Diffenderfer while DePellegrin and her daughter helped pull the woman out from under the vehicle. The deputy ran over the woman with his front passenger tire, DePellegrin and her 26-year-old daughter, Alesya, said.

The deputy remained calm throughout the situation, immediately radioing for help, the family said.

Anna DePellegrin, who is a nurse, began asking Diffenderfer questions to help her stay conscious. Diffenderfer had tire marks on her back, as well as a gash on her head, and said she couldn’t feel her leg, DePellegrin recounted. The 23-year-old began going into shock, saying she felt very dizzy and cold. DePellegrin stayed with the w..

Two Former Police Officers Charged in Fatal Shooting of Man
In graphic body camera footage of the confrontation in Oklahoma in December, the man at one point appears to be putting his hands up when he is shot.

A frame from the unedited video that was released by the city of Lawton, Okla., moments before the police fatally shot Quadry Sanders.

Two former police officers in Lawton, Okla., were charged with first-degree manslaughter Friday in the shooting of a Black man in December. In video footage released by the city on Friday, the man, Quadry Sanders, appeared to be complying with orders to put his hands up after he was initially shot, when he was repeatedly shot again.

The graphic body-camera video of the confrontation shows the officers Nathan Ronan and Robert Hinkle responding to a 911 call on Dec. 5, 2021, just after 8:30 p.m. about a man who was under a protective order entering the home of the person named in the order.

Lee Merritt, the family’s lawyer, said in a statement that Mr. Sanders had a dispute with a woman when the police were called.

Mr. Sanders, 29, was the person in violation of the protective order, according to a statement issued in December by the Lawton police chief, James T. Smith. The statement added that the caller reported that Mr. Sanders was waving a gun inside the house. Officers learned that Mr. Sanders was refusing to let one of the residents leave, according to a statement by the district attorney that was reported by the local news station KSWO.

The footage shows officers using a loudspeaker to alert Mr. Sanders of their presence. A woman exits the home. Mr. Sanders then emerges from a back door according to caption text in the video. Mr. Sanders complied with an officer’s commands to show his hands, according to the district attorney’s office, before running back inside.

When Mr. Sanders exits the house again..
