On August 6th, 2023, an officer in Ohio was on patrol when he spotted two women fighting outside a bar. The women were reportedly grabbing each other's hair and hitting each other, according to the officer's report. When the officer activated the patrol car's lights and sirens, the fight began to disperse as bystanders helped to separate the women. The officer approached a woman sitting nearby who was involved in the fight. The woman stood up and continued to yell, stating she wanted to go home before walking towards the front of the bar. The woman continued to walk towards the front of the bar despite an officer ordering her to stop, leading the officer to detain her and call for backup.
Meanwhile, the second woman involved, who was in an intoxicated state, entered a parked vehicle nearby. Officers attempted to speak with the woman inside the vehicle, but she began arguing with officers and refusing to exit the vehicle. The woman eventually exited the parked vehicle and continued arguing with officers. The woman was issued a Disorderly Conduct citation and released to her sober friend.
As officers placed the detained woman under arrest, she began resisting the officer. After officers placed the suspect in handcuffs, officers escorted her to a patrol car; however, she refused to enter the vehicle. The suspect continued to refuse to enter the patrol car, leading officers to place her inside. Once inside, the suspect removed her handcuffs and continued shouting. The suspect was transported to jail, where she continued arguing with officers before being placed in a cell. The suspect was charged with Disorderly Conduct-Intoxication and Obstructing Official Business
She even gave him a free bowl of noodles and filmed him eating it. But sadly no luck for her as he has more beautiful women in sight for his marriage in the long future - if at all. My only question is: What is this lady doing serving noodles when she could have been a model in China? Why is she dressed so perfectly just to serve food on the street?

Evil Woman Don't Bring Me Down Electric Light Orchestra
Evil Woman was recorded at Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany some time in early to mid 1975. Jeff Lynne wrote the song on a piano in the studio on the last days of recording, writing it very quickly. The band's recording for all of the other songs for the Face The Music album had been completed when Jeff needed another song. One morning, while the rest of the band was out, he sat at the piano and played the opening piano riff, which became the basis of the song. Later that same day, the rest of the band came in and recorded the backing track. The lyrics were written and recorded the next day at Musicland. The string and female choir parts were recorded (and possibly written) later at De Lane Lea Studios in Wembley, U.K.
During the instrumental break in the song, when the synthesizer plays, right before the chorus starts up the second time, if you play it backwards, you can actually hear the synthesizer sound that plays in another song by the Electric Light Orchestra: "Nightrider."
The line "There's a hole in my head where the rain comes in," was inspired by the Beatles song, "Fixing a Hole."
"Don't Bring Me Down" is the highest charting ELO hit in both the UK and US, although ELO's "Xanadu" collaboration with Olivia Newton-John did hit #1 UK.
This was the first ELO song that did not use strings. After recording it, they fired their string section, leaving four members in the band.
ELO leader Jeff Lynne wrote this song late in the sessions for the Discovery album. He came up with the track by looping the drums from a song he recorded earlier in the session, then coming up with more music on the piano. The words came last, as Lynne put together some lyrics about a girl who thinks she's too good for the guy she's with.
As a little joke, Lynne put a count-in at the beginning of the song, even though there was nobody he was counting in.
This turned out to be a good theme song for astronauts enjoying their time in space. The song was played to astronauts on the Space Shuttle Columbia as their wake up call on July 6, 1996 - they were in flight longer than expected because of bad weather on the ground. ELO's record company also tried to tie in the song with the Skylab space station, which crashed to Earth on July 11, 1979 after six years in space. They placed ads in trade magazines promoting the new single "Don't Bring Me Down" by dedicating it to Skylab.
Wondering why Jeff Lynne repeatedly sings the word "groose" after the song's title line? Apparently it was a made-up place-keeper word to fill a gap in the vocals when he was improvising the lyrics.
When the German engineer Reinhold Mack heard the ELO frontman's demo, he asked Lynne how he knew "gruss" means "greetings" in his country's language. Upon learning the German meaning, Lynne decided to leave it in.
Many fans misinterpreted "groose" as "Bruce." In fact, so many people misheard the lyric that Lynne actually began to sing the
Armed men robbed a woman on a busy Wicker Park street corner, part of a 20-minute crime spree on September 23.

Around 11:14 PM on October 20, 2023, Patrolman Matthew Zibrin with the Shrewsbury Police Department observed a 2004 Toyota speeding 60 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, driving on the wrong side of the road, and driving recklessly on Broad Street in the vicinity of Silverbrook Road. Patrolman Zibrin activated his emergency lights initiated a vehicle stop. After the driver pulled over, he proceeded to make contact with the driver, who was identified as 30-year-old Emelyn Robles.
Patrolman Zibrin told her that she was speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road before asking her where she was coming from. Emelyn told the officer that she was coming from The Butcher’s Block, a restaurant in Long Branch. He asked Emelyn if she had anything to drink, and she admitted to having alcohol before driving. Based on his suspicion of impairment, Patrolman Zibrin asked Emelyn to exit the vehicle and perform field sobriety exercises.
Patrolman Zibrin started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test, and he also checked for vertical nystagmus. The second field sobriety exercise was the Walk and Turn test. During the Walk and Turn test, Emelyn failed to touch heel-to-toe on each step and turned improperly. The last field sobriety exercise was the One Leg Stand test. During this exercise, Emelyn displayed a lack of balance and failed to raise her foot in the proper fashion.
Based on her erratic driving, her admission to consuming alcohol, and her inability to adequately complete the field sobriety exercises, Patrolman Zibrin placed Emelyn under arrest for driving under the influence. A search of her vehicle revealed an open container of alcohol. Her vehicle was impounded for a mandatory 12-hour hold under John’s Law and Emelyn was transported to the Shrewsbury Police Department for further processing. At police HQ, the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators was read to Emelyn and she refused to submit breath samples. Patrolman Zibrin issued her the following summonses: Operating under the influence, refusal to submit to chemical test, speeding 25-29 MPH, reckless driving, careless driving, traffic on marked lanes, and open container of alcohol
Court records indicate that on February 15, 2023, Emelyn pleaded guilty to operating under the influence. As a result of her guilty plea, she was required to use an ignition interlock device for 3 months, spend 12 hours at an intoxicated driver resource center, and pay a total of $690 in fines. She pleaded “not guilty” to refusal to submit to chemical test, and she was found “not guilty” on that charge. The other 5 tickets for speeding, reckless driving, careless driving, traffic on marked lanes, and open container of alcohol were dismissed based on prosecutorial discretion.
On January 12th, 2023, officers in New Mexico responded to a call at a Marshall's department store regarding a shoplifting incident. The female suspect was apprehended in the parking lot in a silver sedan, attempting to leave. Despite repeated commands to exit her vehicle, she resisted, leading officers to extract her physically. A subsequent search revealed she had concealed approximately $558.99 worth of goods, including cosmetics, purses, and clothing.
The situation escalated at the police station and later at the hospital. After being transferred for booking, the suspect continued arguing with officers about the shoplifting incident before being taken to a nearby hospital. At the hospital, her behavior turned combative. She resisted changing into a hospital gown, physically attacking officers and medical staff.
The suspect was charged with Shoplifting (over $500 but not more than $2,500), Tampering with Evidence, three counts of Battery upon a Peace Officer, and two counts of Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer.

Christmas TRAGEDY Influencer Vanessa Mancini dies of heart attack at 41 while putting up Christmas decorations early with her parents
Emergency services rushed to the scene but the social media star was showing no vital signs and died at her Manaus home on November 6.
Her family said: “Influencer Vanessa Mancini passed away from a massive heart attack.
“She was at home with her parents and was attended by paramedics, but was unresponsive.

Around 1:01 AM on March 16, 2023, Patrolman Dan Massuda of the Edgewater Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 1111 River Road. When he arrived, he noticed that a 2021 Mercedes had struck a 2018 Hyundai Sonata that had been parked on the street. The driver of the Mercedes, 40-year-old Rosymari Lantiguamodesto, exhibited signs of impairment. The officer also detected the odor of alcohol inside the vehicle.
The driver did not seem to be fluent in English, so the officer radioed for Patrolman Ricardo Hernandez to assist with translating. Patrolman Michael Colon also arrived on scene to attempt to make contact with the owner of the Hyundai. Based on his suspicion of impairment, he offered Rosymari an opportunity to perform field sobriety exercises.
The first exercise involved the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. During the HGN test, Patrolman Massuda observed the lack of smooth pursuit and distinct and sustained nystagmus at maximum deviation. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test. During this exercise, Rosymari did not walk heel-to-toe, failed to turn, and continued to walk until she was instructed to stop. The third exercise was the One Leg Stand test, and Rosymari continued to ignore the officer’s instructions. The officer ultimately made the judgment call to terminate the test given her inability to follow the instructions along with her refusal to cooperate.

Around 7:46 PM on September 23, 2023, Officers David Morgan, Emily Whitty, and Austin Gilmore with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) were on water-based patrol in the IntraCoastal waterway (ICW) inside Jupiter Inlet. The officers observed a female operating a 2021 BRP personal watercraft (PWC) without navigational lights more than half an hour after sunset time (7:15 PM on that day), and they initiated a vessel stop to address these violations. After the officers made contact with the operator and asked for her documents, she was identified as 23-year-old Lauren Lila.
When Officer Morgan made contact with Lauren, he detected the odor of alcohol and noticed that her eyes were glassy and red. He asked Lauren if she had consumed alcohol, and she admitted to probably consuming two drinks. Based on his suspicion of impairment, Lauren was instructed to come on to their patrol boat and offered an opportunity to perform field sobriety exercises.
The first exercise was the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test, and Officer Morgan observed a lack of smooth pursuit, distinct and sustained nystagmus at maximum deviation, and the onset of nystagmus prior to 45 degrees. The second exercise was the Finger to Nose test. During the Finger to nose test, Lauren moved her head more than 1 inch from the starting position and failed to use her fingertip or touch the tip of her nose on multiple occasions. The third field sobriety exercise was the Palm Pat test, and Lauren showed clues of rotated hands and not increasing speed. The final field sobriety exercise was the Hand Coordination test, and Lauren failed to perform the 3rd task or 4th task correctly, indicating a lack of coordination.
Based on her admission to consuming alcohol in the hours prior and her inability to adequately perform the field sobriety exercises, Officer Morgan determined that Lauren was impaired and placed her under arrest for boating under the influence. After Lauren was placed under arrest, they transported her to the U-tiki fueling dock and walked her to their patrol truck. A search of the vessel yielded empty bottles of alcohol, which were photographed and documented as evidence. The vessel was towed by SeaTow and brought to their yard in Stuart, Florida. Lauren was transported without incident to the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center in Palm Beach, Florida.

Authorities have released a nationwide warrant for Ting Ye, a Chinese woman who fled to China after a deadly crash occurred in Bellevue, Washington.
On Sept. 30, Ye, 26, was driving a white 2020 Porsche on 112th Avenue Northeast toward Highway 520 in Bellevue with passenger Yabao Liu, 27. In footage obtained by King 5, Ye seems to have lost control of the car, which can be seen ripping through several intersections before striking a cement barricade, causing it to flip airborne, land upside down and kill Liu.
First responders were not called to the scene until about 45 minutes later. When they arrived, they reportedly discovered Liu’s body and noticed a strong alcohol odor on Ye. The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she was later released on Oct. 6.
According to court documents, both Ye and Liu, who are Chinese citizens, were in Seattle for work. Although Ye did not provide any information to the police, they were able to reach the Chinese company Liu worked for to notify his family.
Three days after Ye’s release from the hospital, she crossed the Canadian border, where she then got on a plane to China. According to police, an unidentified individual who helped Ye could face consequences as well.

San Pedro, Los Angeles — On October 1, 2023, Harbor Division uniformed officers received a radio call regarding a child custody dispute at Gaffey Street and Capitol Drive, in a local store parking lot. Officers and a supervisor met with involved parties and the suspect, later identified as 39-year-old Miesha Scott. After a lengthy discussion, officers facilitated the peaceful transfer of custody of the minor child. After the child exchange, Scott entered her vehicle, a white, Chevrolet, “U-Haul” pick-up truck and appeared to drive toward the parking lot exit.
Scott then drove north towards the location of the victim and one of the officers. Scott accelerated the vehicle and struck the victim, nearly missing one of the officers. Scott proceeded to drive south, toward an additional officer, and an OIS occurred. As officers broadcast a “help call,” Scott fled from the scene and officers initiated a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit concluded at Pacific Avenue and Paseo Del Mar, when the suspect’s vehicle collided into a tree. Scott was taken into custody without further incident. The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the initial scene and treated the victim for the injuries she sustained from being struck by Scott’s vehicle.
The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel also responded to the termination of the pursuit and transported Scott by rescue ambulance to a local hospital, where she was treated for injuries sustained during the collision at the termination of the pursuit. Scott was later cleared for booking by medical staff. Scott was booked for Attempted Murder, Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Peace Officer with a Vehicle. No officers or other community members were injured during this incident. Scott’s vehicle was impounded as evidence. Force Investigation Division investigators responded to the scene and are investigating this incident.

On March 18, 2023, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Jaime Higgins and Terenzo Radcliff pulled over 43-year-old Melissa Horton after receiving information from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office that she had attempted to shoot her fiancé. The deputies commanded Horton to get out of her car but instead she lifted a shotgun and pointed it toward Deputy Higgins. The deputies fired and Horton died of gunshot injuries.
