Canada: 100,000 truckers freedom convoy

A cross-country convoy of 100,000 trucks protesting both mandates and being prevented from picking up supplies has jammed the streets of Canada’s capital. "After a week-long drive across Canada, a convoy of big rigs has arrived in the national capital to protest vaccine mandates and Covid-19 measures." It was difficult for the media to squash such a record-breaking protest with such public support from many in the towns and cities as they drove across the country. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said a “small group of people ... are posing a threat to themselves, to each other, to Canadians.”
