status quo - technicolor dreams (non-phased album version) - stereo remix & phase effect
Edit for headphones. This is my attempt to get the stereo album version sound single-ish by means of a phase effect. From the album "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" (deluxe edition)(remaster). The single was released in November 1968, but withdrawn in the UK. Though for several weeks in the Dutch tip parade (a pre charts thing) it didn't reach the charts in Holland, nor anywhere on earth. Strange, for I like it very very much.
Here is real great - dubbed - "live" video with my edit in it, on the channel of Omegaman69:

Status Quo are a British rock group who are best known in home country for their heads-down twelve-bar boogie rock which they have played since the 1970s. They enjoyed 22 Top 10 hits in the UK between 1968 and 1990, including one chart-topper in 1974's "Down Down." Their biggest American hit was the psychedelic "Pictures Of Matchstick Men," which reached #12 in 1968.
TECHNICOLOR DREAMS
(Anthony King)*
I see your face at the dawn of the day, gold as the sun begins to shine
I see your face now at the end of the day, purple shadows dancing in your eyes.
Technicolour dreams are all I see
Technicolour dreams of you and me
I see your shadow tripping through a silver glade, tiptoeing over crimson sand
Luring me onwards into a sea of jade, leading me gently by the hand
Technicolour dreams are all I see
Technicolour dreams of you and me
If I could escape through the windows of my mind
I would fly to your magic mountain land
There we would stay 'til the world had passed away
With a love only we could understand
Technicolour dreams are all I see
Technicolour dreams of you and me
I see your face at the dawn of the day, gold as the sun begins to shine
I see your face now at the end of the day, purple shadows dancing in your eyes
