Richard Roeper and Guest Critic, Michael Phillips reviews "I Am Legend" (A Sci-Fi Action Thriller Starring the Oscar winning, "The Fresh Prince" whose life flipped turned upside down when he's responsible for slapping Chris Rock over a harmless G.I. Jane joke of his wife, Jada "Woo" Pinkett Smith at the 2022 Oscars which got him suspended for 10 years, Will Smith!), "Alvin and the Chipmunks" (The horrible Live-Action/CGI Family Film based on Ross Bagdasarian Sr. (Dave Seville) original creation of three chipmunk brothers featuring "My Name is Earl" and Kevin Smith regular actor, Jason Lee. I can't believe it became a film franchise! Just stick to the 80s Cartoon, their animated movies, songs and other "Chipmunks" adventures!) "The Perfect Holiday" (Christmas Comedy/Drama Starring: Queen Latifah), "Juno" (Another review since it's playing in theatres at the time), "Sweeney Todd" (A Dark and Magnificent Musical Adaptation from Tim Burton and Starring: "21 Jump Street and Innocent" Johnny Depp and Helena Bonaham Carter), "Youth Without Youth" (Francis Ford Coppola's overlooked drama. His films in the 2000s and 2010s are overshadowed these years while his daughter, Sofia is going strong.) and "The Kite Runner".
New on Video: "The Simpsons Movie" (I have this movie on DVD along with "Seasons # 1-5 & "Seasons #7 & 9". Need the find the Blu-ray and two more seasons. I lost respect when "Season #11 came along but even Season #9 was going downhill! This show is still long-running and popular!), "Stardust" (I have on Blu-ray), "Balls of Fury" (Not a good comedy, has its funny moments. I have the DVD.) Roeper's pick is "Blade Runner: 5 Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition" (I found the now OOP Edition on Blu-ray at "Goodwill" last year after having the 4-Disc DVD Edition for several years and it's not the briefcase version! I'll might get the 4K UHD someday.) and Phillip's pick is "Once" (An amazing musical drama with Glen Hanzard).
