This is the fifth of my 'Time Lapse Travel Log' videos, and the second one for Tokyo. While I was capturing these images in October 2015, I wanted to capture a different feeling of Tokyo. Tokyo is the largest city in the world, but to me the charm comes from the textures of the city. What I really love in Tokyo are the smaller side streets that are right around the corner of the main bustling hubs of the city, and the tight alleys that link them together. I also enjoy observing people moving around throughout their day to day routines.
With this Time Lapse Travel Log I wanted to capture the feeling I get in Tokyo when I am walking around and exploring. Tokyo is full of a wide array of colors mixed together, but I wanted to strip away colors that can be distracting, to focus on the feeling of the city itself.
Instead of capturing what makes Tokyo flashy and unique, I wanted to capture its character and feeling.
