The song is an aural impression of the "primordial soup" in which life began. The rhythmic patterns are akin to simple protein strings and the low rumbling is inspired by the motion of the water under the sea, or in a tide pool. The shimmering bells are symbolic of the "magic event" when living systems emerge.

It turns out that there are two entirely different songs and videos called "The Origin of Life" on Atwaterpub This "second one" was created almost 20 years after the first one. Sorry for the confusion. Too late now...
