Fortnite X Marvel Rare Variant Cover Comicbooks

This is a video I have been looking forward to making for several months. As a lifelong Marvel fan and a longtime Fortnie player I was hyped when Epic Games announced the season long crossover event with Marvel comics - I loved the idea of getting new Marvel themed character skins in game!

That said, my "comicbook collector" senses started tingling before the season even officially kicked off - I thought we might see some sort of printed tie-in.....when they dropped a comicbook in game on the "Battle Pass" menu I knew some sort of printed tie-in was in the works.

As discussed in the video these variant cover comics were not solicited in the normal way and as such I suspect the print numbers are actually pretty low. It was a challenge for me to get a copy of each title through my local store and I had to get several copies from online retailers. Even now I am seeing the number of online listings for these AWESOME Marvel/Fortnite collectables dwindle - get them while you can!

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 features an awesome crossover with Marvel Comics including a cool story told through the pages of an in-game digital comic. But did you know they also printed unique, variant covers for actual comic books featuring characters from the Nexus War crossover event?

There is even a printed version of the in-game comic! I believe these collectables were printed in relatively small quantities, especially when you take into account the overall popularity of the two franchises. I'm a seasoned comic book collector that orders titles months in advance - these variants WERE NOT OFFERED in the usual way to comic book stores and they are disappearing from online sources fast!
