Ignorance is Not a Blessing, YouTube:
I'm east asian/middle eastern and I can a test to these rituals. I've seen them for myself. I'm an American born and raised but I would visit family every year in India. For the most part the Hindu faith is pretty peaceful and seemed to have followed with some what of the modern times. However , in the jungles I like to call it, are the primitive Hindus. Apparently keeping the real old traditions alive. So one day my mom hears about a temple that essentially is called " the temple of a thousand steps" so we go and it's not like there's a thousand steps, but it seems the amount of steps you have do your self because of the size of the stairs is what makes it's so. Anyways. It's literally like built on a small mountain. As I'm walking i see baby scorpions and goats just chilling. I don't know why I wasnt bothered by any of this. If for us, this was different. When we got up, the prayers were already going. The alter was of Kali and the statue was burned black from the fire that surrounded it. We thought of it like as if we found an old ancient temple and we were really appreciating finding are roots...man we didn't realize what we were gonna see next....there's this goat chilling with a leash. The prayers picked up the pace and all of sudden we see them pull out those typical crescent shaped sword's .. he lifts it up and everyone get louder. My mom realizing what's about to happen, sheilds my sister's and mines eye's and when we she moves her hands ..we see the dude hold the head and then throw it into the fire of the altar it surrounded. My mom was so confused and when to my grandma for answers as she was pissed at what she saw. My grandma explained that what we saw was very ancient and not practiced in modern Hinduism. But there are some that still try to keep the old old.ways going. But what bothers me is that I never heard or seen anything like that anywhere else where we went or anything I've seen here so far. They seem to be even older then the vedics. Anyways years later i converted to Christianity because one day I discovered my faith was based on fallen angels. And it scares the crap out me.. lol. I've felt better since about my road faith wise , but the knowledge I've picked up from a whole childhood of learning about my old one has def helped shape me as a Christian. The vedas are the pre stories before even the Torah. Thank you for finally talking about my old faith. We need people to see these connections. The fallen are here.
