This video is a follow on from the previous nine videos dealing with the topics I’ve just mentioned. If you haven’t seen those videos, I would recommend you doing so before watching this one.
Let’s continue on talking about Social Credit Systems.
worse case scenario
Let’s now imagine a worse case scenario.
Let’s assume that a Social Credit System is in place in your country and it takes a rather extreme form. The State is very authoritarian and acts in a repressive manner. It doesn’t tolerate any form of criticism or opposition. There’s no free speech. Civil liberties are curtailed. There is Martial Law. People are not to not allowed to gather in large groups. They are not allowed to protest. Moreover, you would be living in a Surveillance State. And finally, there is an active Secret Police whose job is to move against subversives.
My guess is that given what happened in many countries of the world during the Pandemic with the lockdowns, this shouldn’t now be too difficult for people to imagine.
The citizens for their part, are faced with a stark choice. They can choose to either be obedient and act in accord with the demands of the Government, or they can be defiant and go against them. This would be done at considerable risk to themselves and possibly their families also.
Maybe there is a third way … you go along with the State and do as you are told, but inwardly you rile against it.
Let’s assume that one day, it all becomes too much and you decide to act upon your inner feelings. And so, despite this policy of zero tolerance, despite the Martial Law and all the Draconian measures, you decide to protest.
What happens then?
You are liable to get yourself into serious trouble / a whole lot of trouble. You could be arrested, or worse.
Bear in mind that if you are regarded by the State as any kind of threat, they can easily move against you. And in any way they wanted. They could go beyond the ordinary measures employed to punish people.
As I’ve already said, there would nothing stopping them from doing whatever they decided to do. They would have the power to take whatever measures they wanted. This would mean detention, torture, or even death.
So, woe betide you if you protest.
