String theory and M-theory postulates that there are extra tiny dimensions. However, we can't perceive them because they are so tiny. Why they are so small is usually explained by postulating they are shaped weird, so they are curled up on themselves like some kind of hyper dimensional donut. Well, are they curled up that or are things just confined to a small layer in these dimensions? How'd they get so small to begin with? Well, I have an idea that might explain it. Let me explain why!
