My high end goal was to hit six reps, thus doubling this week's minimum prescribed rep count, and also surpassing my previous Strict performance by one rep. However, the weight moved so easily, and before I knew it, I had already hit six! So I decided why not match my current rep PR with touch and go reps? And I DID! I really should have called it there, but I also felt like I could have grinded out one more, which would be an all time PR. So in the heat of the moment, I felt that I did not want to leave it on the table, and later think about what could have been. So I WENT FOR IT. Perhaps not the smartest idea in terms of managing fatigue; and it turned out to be one of the grindiest OHP reps of my life, hahaha. However, sometimes you just got to say "what the hell?" and go for it! Besides, I am planning on taking a deload after this cycle, anyway. Overall, I am super happy with today's results! 60 Kgs x 10 is CLOSING IN! 🤟🏻
