Back in 1993, Capcom a spinoff series of the beloved series Megaman, known as Megaman X. Released on the SNES, it became an instant hit! Set almost 100 years after the events of the original Megaman series, there is a virus infecting Reploids, a class of Android that can think and act of their own free will. The virus later known as the Sigma virus turns Reploids Maverick bent on whiping out all human life!
