A recap of MNL (6/27/2022):

- I bust through the gates swinging, as I explained the difference between being a proactive critic who appreciates the indie scene, and just being a social media trash talker who simply hops on cancel culture bandwagons to gain phony validation.

- I shined a spotlight on some books this week, including a medieval harem adventure, some offbeat science fiction, and a spoofy romcom.

- I made an announcement on behalf of a writer acquaintance of mine, which inspired me to bring up the subject of marketability and share some personal insights about developing brand name recognition.

- I explored a successful Kickstarter project for a SciFi comic book series, written by a man who realized that one must be willing to give their dream a chance, in order to make it a reality.

- I shared a resource for "neurodivergent" writers (or writers who have a chronic illness), that will connect them with an indie publisher who is looking to branch out.

- I finished the stream by reading a piece of romanticized fantasy that suggested darker implications within the details.
