The Dead Sea Scrolls: The Septuagint (Greek koine) and the Masoretic (Hebrew) Texts
There was a time I was KJV only. I heard and knew of the dead sea scrolls but never really investigated too deep. I put this together to hopefully help others understand the King James Version only view and it's rebuttal. I also know that Martin Luther didn't like the book of James as it hints to works and it clashes with 'Sola Fide' tidbit.

My Tidbit: pastor Anderson is trying to expose the Dead Sea Scrolls as of no significance. I believe the Qumran sect were Essenes. They write of the Pharisees and Sadducees in scripture but not much is written of the Essenes. I believe John the Baptist and Jesus were of this sect. This sect might explain the priesthood in the Order of Melchizedek. This would make them something of more of worth than the Aaronic (Levite) priests. To claim to be the sperm of Abraham would be a null and void point. Abraham gave tithes to the King of Salem - Melchizedek a priest of the most high.
Jeremiad wrote that the scribes would tamper with the scriptures. The Hebrew writing has no vowels and by adding dots and titles the meanings could be changed. I’m sure the Jewish scribes were honest in the transmission. Hence, this is the Masoretic text
that was used as a base for the KJV.
The Dead Sea Scrolls just verified that the Septuagint (koine Greek (Bible) was available before and at the time of Jesus.
The Septuagint and the Masoretic Text(s) y are both streams of transmission but the Septuagint was closer to the Dead Sea Scroll findings.
Steven Anderson did raise the point that in 1947 Israel is founded then suddenly the appearance of the scrolls. (Is it sarcasm or helping / warning sign from above?)
