Cleared out the last chest in Swamp Palace and beat Trinexx after a few failed attempts. That gives us GRAVITY SUIT! And with that, it's back to Super Metroid for the long slog of Maridia, and more suffering with a shinespark puzzle.

With the hammer found, we clear out a lot of the overworld checks in Dark World, and clear out the Palace of Darkness. I was missing two keys for it, but one of them was found inside the Palace of Darkness itself, and the other wasn't needed thanks to skipping an optional key door. Gotta be smart about those things.

A very nice episode. We clear out as much of Skull Woods as we can, as well as Misery Mire. Along the way, we get the tempered (level 3) sword, and hammer, to deal more damage and unlock a huge amount of progress, but also screw attack to make us be able to cheese a lot of Super Metroid enemies.

The cursed episode! Recording this one was such a pain. My internet died on me as I was starting to stream and needed to spend half an hour fixing it. Then, I recorded this episode, and my emulator crashed and didn't save my progress, so I needed to record the episode a second time.
With all that done, we made some good progress. Grabbed a few things in Super Metroid that have been unlocked, including getting the red boomerang. On the Legend of Zelda side, we finished off Thieves' Town, and got silver arrows and a new outfit for Sailor Mercury.

This is the last episode of the first recording session. Once more, we're working on clearing the overworld, and grabbing a few things from Norfair. I thought we grabbed everything from the overworld that we could, but we found the hookshot in Norfair just above Crocomire, and that opened all of the East side of Death Mountain. We also found the Master Sword which unlocked the stone tablets for us.

We finish off the week by stopping by the Trio of Terror, and by Tama-chan. Surprisingly, our sweet and gullible teacher is the first one to recognized that we're stuck in a time loop, although she thinks it's just Deja Vu.
Afterwards, we take Origami on a date. The date gets cut short by an attack. Recklessly, we choose to follow her. At first, it seems like a false alarm, but then we're attacked by another guardian. It seems that Origami has discovered another base of the barrier.
