Recorded on 8/4/23. Last summer, I brought William down to Grand Central since he had not seen the new Long Island Railroad terminal yet. BJ Blue Shadow Transit joins us as well. The action is a little different here this time because it was a weekday so Far Rockaway trains were going through here instead of the Long Beach Branch. The Long Beach Branch operates through here on weekdays but only during peak direction of each peak hour which we were not here for. On the way out from Forest Hills we did catch the one singular outbound train to West Hempstead that operates out of here on weekdays only. We also feature some Metro North trains in this video. Enjoy the action!

Recorded on 8/21/23. This is the video of the modernized elevators at Nordstrom! Despite the lazy slap the new panel over the new panel job, this is a great modernization! The elevators are very smooth and are very nice!

Recorded 6/27/23. I passed this motel many times and never realized there was an elevator here until I took a closer look on Google maps at the property. This elevator is interesting since this elevator has no directional lanterns or Dover buzzes. Runs very smoothly though.

Recorded on 4/29/23. This is the train ride we did on the way to our railfanning trip at the Long Island Railroad terminal (Grand Central Madison) at Grand Central. We decided to take an updated ride on the Harlem Line since it was many years since I did a train ride video on the Harlem and we did not feel like paying for parking at Croton-Harmon. Recorded on 4/2/24. I ride these elevators quite a bit. However, I did not get a video of these on my Google Pixel 4A camera, so I decided to do so while I was here. There always seems to be one elevator out of service whenever I am here. I love the cabs these elevators have!

Recorded on 4/2/24. Here we have a space in the Bergen Town Center that has seen a lot! This space opened as a Sterns back in the day. Century 21 later comes into this space and then closes in 2020. I tried to come here in 2020 to ride those elevators. However, I was stopped by Bergen County's blue laws, which I was unaware of when I tried to come here, so all nonessential businesses are closed on Sundays in Bergen County. It was a Sunday when I made this attempt. Last year, Kohls moved out of the Paramus Place Shopping Center into the former Century 21 space. Unfortunately, Kohls went cheap and added a floor to this Kone elevator. The old Sterns elevators are no longer accessible. I do not know if they were ripped out or if they are service elevators. This elevator got upgraded call stations too. Despite going the cheap way out, this elevator ran fine. It didn't run well when Chris Cronin rode this elevator right after Kohls opened in 2023. As long as Kohls keeps up with the maintenance, this elevator will be fine. Especially since these older Kone elevators tend to hold up better than the newer ones.

Recorded on 6/27/23. I missed this hotel in 2022 because I thought the elevator I did at the Fleur de Lis Resort was the Crusader Motel. Thankfully I came back in 2023 to find that this elevator is still original! Quite a few of the elevators on the Island have been getting modernized recently so I am happy that this elevator is still original. Enjoy!

Recorded on 2/24/24. Featuring William Scoufaras and Boston Elevators and Aviation. My birthday special involves two videos this year! I never thought I would get to ride a Mitsubishi elevator as they are located mostly on the west coast and Chicago. Mitsubishi has been expanding their base over the last couple of years and finally made it to the east coast! The day had finally come! I only had to go to Boston to finally ride some! These elevators are incredible! They are super smooth and super efficient. I love all of the chimes and buttons on these elevators! The cabs are stunning too! Keep in mind this is a five star hotel so this is why all of the elevators here are very high end. I didn't make it to the express elevators. However, I got an extra video of these elevators that contains no narration you will see later on. I can now cross off riding a Mitsubishi elevator on my bucket list, lol! Enjoy my first ride on a Mitsubishi elevator!

Recorded on 2/25/24. For the Boston 2024 trip, I took the train to see William instead of driving like I did for the Boston 2023 trip. Usually, the Acela trains cost a fortune compared to the Northeast Regional trains. However, I noticed the 9:39 AM train out of Route 128 Station only cost $10 more than the Northeast Regional, so I took the deal! I finally crossed off riding the Acela off my bucket list! The ride was worth it! This train is incredibly smooth! This makes sense because the Acela adjusts the train cars to the turns it makes. We reach 150 MPH in this video, too. This video was perfect to upload as a birthday special this year. Enjoy the ride!

Recorded on 2/24/24. Featuring William Scoufaras. I know I already uploaded a video of a ride on the MBTA Blue Line. However, me and William decided to check up on the Wonderland elevators in 2024 and we had an interesting experience on the train we took up there. The automated announcements were very messed up! Frank was saying all different stops on the Blue Line that we weren't even at! This video also features the trains changeover of power from third rail to overhead electricity. At the end, you get to see how the elevator at Wonderland is doing in 2024. This video ended up being perfect for an April Fools Day special. Enjoy!
