WARNING GRAPHIC: 15-year-old girl arrested after beating a girl’s head against the pavement near Hazelwood East High School in St. Louis, Missouri.

St. Louis County Police Department spokeswoman Vera Clay said the teen was arrested on assault charges.

The girl who was beaten is listed in critical condition with a severe head injury.

Hazelwood School district made the following WEAK statement.

“It is a tragedy anytime children are hurt. Bullying and fighting in the community is an issue for which we all need to take ownership and work towards a resolution for the sake of our children.”
