Hello Retro Gaming fans, Ryan Mcquinn here!

One of the cool things about this game is each character, not only gets their own playthrough, but they get to share their portion of the story. It's written in such a way that it shows the events unfold from their perspective. This video shows the adventure through Tails' eyes. Join Tails, as he helps his friend and personal hero Sonic, defeat Dr. Robotnik and save Station Square. Will Tails prove he's more than just a sidekick?

Hello Retro Gaming fans, Ryan Mcquinn here!

Ported to the GameCube, Sonic Adventure was originally released on the Sega Dreamcast. There are many notable changes between the Original and GameCube releases. For one, instead of the Chao being transferred to the VMU and used as a virtual pet, you transfer it to the GBA and play in the Chao Garden. The story however, remains the same. Join Sonic and his friends as they try to save Station Square from the menace released by Dr. Robotnik, Chaos the God of destruction! But can Sonic and company really defeat a God?!

Hello Retro Gaming fans, Ryan Mcquinn here!

When you think of a party game, which game comes to mind? For me it's Super Mario Party. My favorite in the series is Super Mario Party 2. Run like a classic board game, players "roll" dice to decide how far they move on the game board. When every player has taken a turn, you play a mini game for coins. At the end of the game, the player with the Most stars, coins and overall performance wins. It's a fun and addictive game I suggest everyone try, even non-gamers. In today's video, I played my favorite stage with my Wife for 20 turns. (She's hooked now ūüėÜ)

The sequel to Galaxian, Galaga is an arcade favorite of many kids
of the 80's. I just remember going to the arcade and Galaga was
the first machine I'd play, if it wasn't already occupied. ūüėĀ A classic
fixed space shooter that would make most gamers of that era
pump quarter after quarter into the machine, in an effort to show
your skill. You can fire more rapidly than space invaders, the enemies
actually fly towards you, and you can have multiple ships! Today's
video is a shortplay of stages 1 - 23 with the challenge stages, from
the NES version of Galaga.

Hello Retro Gaming fans, Ryan Mcquinn here!

So I had the idea to see how difficult it would be to start the original game, red version in this case, with a weaker Pokemon. I changed the 3 starter Pokemon to Weedle, Caterpie and Pidgey. I picked my starter (Weedle), and my rival picked Caterpie. To be honest the game wasn't as difficult as it was tedious, but nevertheless, I still had a great time playing! If anyone would like to also try it out, I have the IPS patch linked in the description. I used both the Missingno glitch to increase some of my item quantities, and the Mew glitch to catch both mew and Lapras. Let me know in the comments what you think, and if you'd like me to expand upon the hack in any way.

Donkey Kong is back in Nintendo's Donkey Kong Country, with a new sidekick, Diddy Kong, in a crazy island adventure. Challenged by the crazed tribe of reptilian Kremlings, they endeavor to get back their stolen banana horde! Armed with lightning-quick moves, chest-pounding muscle and awesome aerial acrobatics, our duo is ready to face their cunning adversaries. With the help of Donkey Kong's quirky family and his wild animal mounts, they squabble and scamper their way through the unending monkey mayhem. The Donkey Kong Country Competition Cartridge is a cut-down competition variant of Donkey Kong Country manufactured for use in the Nintendo PowerFest '94 game competition and later featured in the Blockbuster World Video Game Championships II event.

Only 2,500 copies of the Competition Cartridge were released. The actual game consists of a few select levels from Donkey Kong Country with the addition of a point counter and a few minor tweaks to encourage scoring, the goal being to score as many points as possible. The tree house and banana cave at the start of Jungle Hijinxs have been disabled and all of the Animal Tokens in the early levels have been replaced with banana bunches, making it impossible to reach the bonus round without the usage of a cheating device. The player is also given 50 starting extra lives instead of the 5 as in the original game. The game has a time limit of five minutes, which is displayed at the center of the screen. After the allotted time, the game freezes.

so this game was much easier than the original! Played through with one of the original bad dude.

When a battlecruiser the size of a city and called the Colossus smashes out of the moon, its laser cannon glowing menacingly, you can bet it ain't gonna be makin' no social calls... You can bet it's gonna be creating some bad n' crazy mayhem on good ol' planet Earth - 'specially when you know that the dreaded Dark Queen and the shady Shadow Boss are on board just rarin' to rock n' roll...

The dastardly duo are about to unleash their most monstrous plan yet - from their secret lunar base they intend to launch an invasion that'll make them masters of the world... Neutralized by deadly glooming rays, Earth's forces are powerless... That is, until the Dragons join the 'Toads!

Take a toadacious trip with the dream ticket as those terrific twins Billy and Jimmy Lee team up with Zitz, Flash and Pimple against the combined might of the gruesome twosome and their mindless minions Big Blag, Abobo, Robo-Manus and Roper, in a toadally new adventure!

A lot of people are calling this the hardest game ever made. I personally think there are a few levels of battletoads that rival this. Anyway I played through two times to get the good ending. This was one game I never could beat as a kid and decided to go back and get the job done!!

Ghosts 'n Goblins is a sideways scrolling action platformer spread over six levels, each of which must be completed within three minutes (or a life is lost), taking in forest, village, mountain and cavern settings with increasing difficulty. Arthur the brave knight must rescue his beloved Princess from the Demon King Astaroth and his forces - amongst them are the various undead (ghosts, zombies), bats, ogres and goblins. Other challenges include moving platforms, ladders and water/fire hazards.

The player can walk left and right, jump, and is also equipped with a lance to use as a weapon. Getting hit by enemies causes Arthur to lose his armor and run around in his underpants, getting hit again will cause the player to lose a life. As in most games in this genre, the player can pick up power-ups such as daggers and bombs during the course of the game, giving the player greater firepower.

Okay 'toads! Let's get EVEN! When the evil Dark Queen kidnaps both your best buddy and the best looking girl this side of the Mazallion Star Cluster - what are you gonna do about it? Are you gonna cry? Hide? Call the Starcops? No way! Because you're a BATTLETOAD and BATTLETOADS don't cry, hide, or call for help. BATTLETOADS get real MAD - and then they get EVEN!

So, strap on your Blaster, power-up the Toadster, and get on down to the Dark Queen's planet - but, watch out 'toad - this lady's bad, and she's got a whole mess of really nasty surprises lined up for you - like the Psyko Pigs, the Mutant Ratpack, Robo-Manus and the Saturn Toadtrap, to name but a few. You're gonna need all your fighting skills to defeat her - the Battletoad Butt, the Big Bad Boot and the Nuclear Knuckles.

Hey, and don't forget to take along the Jet Turbo, the Space Board, and the Speed Bike. Because you're gonna need them all, 'toad, if you're gonna rescue your friends and get the frog outta there with your green skin intact!

Kickin' cyborg butt... That's what it's all about, dude. Jack into this game of genetic engineering gone bad. Real bad. It's five years after the mother of all wars ended - and things still aren't right. Your job is to fix it. The ever-popular Contra series makes its Sega Genesis debut with a pulse-pounding new storyline. At 16 megs, HARD CORPS pushes the technology to bring you over ten gut-wrenching levels with huge boss characters, great graphics and dynamic sound. Find high powered weapons such as the homing gun, crush gun, needle laser or mine setter. Do you think you can handle it? Trust me, you can't. You still here? Okay, then get ready for the fight of your life. Pick one of the four heroes and begin your search across many dark levels of doom. The ending changes, depending on the paths you choose - but every pass crosses boss characters that will blow you away. Literally!

After losing a confrontation against Super Commandos Mad Dog and Scorpion, the juices of destruction drip from the spiked tongue of the vile alien warmonger - Red Falcon. Now, he's coming back stronger than ever, with a sinister plan that includes having his intergalactic warriors seep into the brains of the U.S. Army. To support his disguised forces of doom, he's recruited Jagger Froid, a demented alien from the Black Hole Galaxy. He's also shuttled in The Babula Destructoid Mechanism with its Beam of Death. With torrential terror about to rain down upon civilization, Earth's only hope rests with you, Scorpion, and your pal, the Dogster. And if your spread guns, lasers, flame throwers and mega shells fail to destroy Red Falcon's eight levels of terror, including radioactive lava fields, it's all over but for the shouting, the screaming and the cries from a disintegrating world!

Something frightening has been happening on Elm Street lately. It seems that with each waking day another grussome discovery is made... another neighborhood teen has mysteriously passed away into the dark stillness of the night. Everyone says it's "natural causes," but it seems as if something (or someone) has been picking them off one by one in their sleep. It's a horrible nightmare come true... and this nightmare has a name: Freddy Krueger. It's up to you and your remaining friends to search Elm Street for his bones, which have been scattered about then collect and burn them in the High School furnace. If you can just stay awake long enough, you might be able to end Freddy's reign of terror for good. You had better hurry though, it's getting late and you can feel your eyelids getting heavier and heavier by the minute.
