The very first appearance of the Green Hornet was in the radio program of January 31, 1936, created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker. The Green Hornet also appeared in movie serials of 1940, The Green Hornet, and The Green Hornet Strikes Again. The Green Hornet also appeared in the 1966 TV series, featuring Van Williams and Bruce Lee. The Green Hornet along with his partner Kato, also was popular in comic books of the 1940's, and up to more recent series, notably with Dynamite Entertainment, with Green Hornet Year One, and interesting crossover events with other golden age classics, like The Shadow, The Spider, Zorro, Black Terror, Green Lama, the Black Bat, and others. Green Hornet also appeared in Moonstone Books anthologies, with titles like The Green Hornet Chronicles, The Green Hornet Casefiles, and The Green Hornet Still at Large.
