AEK player Oleh Danchenko has suffered a cardiac arrest and is in critical condition after his heart stopped 3 times after collapsing during training in Turkey.
Oleh Danchenko, 28 years old, plays for the Ukrainian Premier League Club Zorya Luhansk. He is on loan from the Greek club AEK Athens and was at Luhansk for a training camp in Turkey. The incident occurred right before playing a casual soccer game. According to the Greek publication Skai, the staff member of an Austrian team was at the scene with a defibrillator on hand to respond. Medical staff immediately rushed to him to provide aid.
