On the fifth day of Grumblemas, the Grumblers gave to me…
Not only one of the first games to kick off the car combat genre, but also one of the key games that convinced me to throw down my hard-earned dollar-doos on the Playstation instead of the N64. I love Twisted Metal! Despite not really holding up both graphically and game play wise, this is still a great game and I have always found myself going back to the game where it all started. The dark tones, serious story, and lack of cartoons in this one will always hold a soft spot in my heart. Merry Grumblemas!
Welcome to the third annual 12 Days of Grumblemas, where each day leading up to Christmas, we give to you a look at one of my favorite games that I grew up with or played often over the years. These aren’t full runs of the games. These are more like single episodes on games that we wouldn’t normally cover otherwise because they generally just don’t fit the channel’s format, or I suck at them, or I just haven’t gotten to them yet and we may revisit in the future. Either way, we’ve put together a pretty fun lineup for y’all this year, so Season’s Greetings from our living room to yours.
Twisted Metal (1995) – SingleTrac Entertainment Technologies
The Rusty Chevrolet (1987) – Da Yoopers
This song is a Christmas tradition where I grew up and Da Yoopers are a true national treasure. Please check out their website: http://dayoopers.com/
If you’re on out BitChute channel and this video isn’t working because… BitChute, you can probably find it (although likely with invasive ads) on our YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3MvUS1c1IMSMzb5KSY0CLA
All material is used within the guidelines of fair use; even the copyrighted music that auto-triggers YouTube claims. All this trouble because some limp-dick fucker copyrighted the background music of a video game. If you see an ad on this video it's because of the auto-flag system and YouTube wants you to sit through multiple ads to watch two people talk over a video game. I highly recommend using Ad-Blocker if you seen any ads.
