Feb 1, 2022 DPCYTBC I own all rights to this footage, but not the music. FYI, the mobile phone was doing auto-focus & trying to keep up with the lightning. I didn't really notice until I sped this up about 6x.. It's also about time that I learned how to do time lapse. Thanks, Unicorn Heads! This storm was MASSIVE. It made the Rocky Mountains look like ant hills. I made a note on the original description stating there were likely lightning strikes that caused more forest fires. When I went through this video frame by each frame, the thumbnail does appear to be an actual lightning strike.
This video is the total of all 3 original parts, 30 minutes down to 6. Clideo makes it easy with the speed tool. I've had this since the lightning storm in July 2020. I did stop recording because I was leaning WAY over the edge & the wind was strong. It looks a LOT better speeded up!
Actual date of original recording: 7.31.20 DUSBSan Severe lightning storm over the Rocky Mountains taken out of my 12th floor window with a Tracfone while I leaned out. Any storm chasers out there? I think I saw a few tornadoes. The whole storm system went from right to left straight over the mountains. This was during all of the months-long forest fires. Some lightning strikes may have caused a few smaller ones.
I own all rights to the footage & photos. If you want to share it, please give my channel credit.
