The Gymmy Jamm: Season 8
Episode 37
Status Quo
Consistency guarantees success. Variety guarantees consistency. Before I go on about the same old exercises I've been doing for the past week let's look at how to keep the body guessing, even if you are doing the same routine. Let's also talk about keeping the mind guessing too. The reason people hit plateaus is because Body/Mind gets used to what's going on. Bod needs to be shocked and awed to respond positively. Those reverse grip exercises are going to be uncomfortable at first, but Bod will respond and adapt. Then you can start adding weight.
Here's the work:
All we're doing as far as lifting goes is deadlifts, weighted pullups and reverse grip bench press. That's how we start. The rest is core, agility, hangs, balance and some light weight work in awkward positions. Read all about it.

UPDATED December 15, 2023
No one reads these, but we'll add it anyway. Season 6 was amazing. We did a lot of unorthodox protocols from our past, most notably the Special Forces countdown workout, which led to 10x10s. We gained mind-blowing stamina & endurance. I literally couldn't stop marveling about it. We extended our weekly walks from 4 to 8 miles. We continued running and have completed a few 3 mile runs. More burpees, barwalks, dips, pullups and handstands outside. More bulking expected in Season 7.
