The real problem is not the virus, but the psychological discontent and misery the society was in before the Covid crisis.
The process of mass formation is identical to hypnosis. An individual in the grip of a process of mass formation typically becomes radically blind to everything that goes against the narratives that the group believes in. They seem to have lost all interest in the things that were important to them before the mass formation process started, which makes them radically willing to sacrifice themselves for the collective. They become radicaly intolerant for dissonant voices. This goes further and further, until the masses are inclined to destroy those who do not go along with them, and they do so as if it was an ethical duty.
The crisis and this false narrative was a symptom of the real problem, which was the psychological state of the population, which was in its turn was connected to our mechanistic, materialist view of man and the world. That's the real problem-- a view of man and the world that is not scientific at all, because if you look at the science of the last 150 years, it exactly shows that we are not a biological machine, and that the universe is not a mechanical system. Far from that, it is a system that is aware, that is conscious, that reacts to other consciences. That's the real revolution that has to happen."
"If you look at the Corona crisis, you will see that everything is about solidarity, you have to accept the vaccine, the lockdowns, to be a good citizen. The real reason people buy into the story even if it is utterly absurd, is not because they believe in the narrative, but because the narrative leads to the new social bond.
This allows all the frustration and aggression to be directed at an object--- the people who for one reason or another do not want to participate in the mass formation. They feel connected, their life makes sense through this heroic struggle against the virus, and they can satisfy their frustration and aggression in a positive state. THAT is why people continue to believe in absurd narratives.For the 30% most hypnotized by mass formation, the more absurd the measures are, the better they will work and the more inclined they will be to buy into the narrative. The measures function as a ritual that are a kind of behavior that are without pragmatic meaning and demand a sacrifice from the individual.
For a certain part of the population it really doesn't matter if the measures are absurd or not."
