Just recently I happened upon a movie while scrolling through the tv which caught my eye. The movie was "Silence" which is directed by Martin Scorsese. Silence really caught my eye because it seems to be a genuinely Christian movie in a sea of Degeneracy. But as I watched, what began as an inspiring Movie about 2 Christian Missionaries spreading the Gospel to Japan in a dangerous time became one of the most BRUTAL things I had ever watched.

After watching it the first time, I was left questioning my own faith. In the Bible it says that as long as we maintain our faith, that is the most important thing. But, if I were in the situation Rodrigues was in, would I be able to endure it? Or, would I cave in and Apostatize?

Something About the movie really really bothered me and I decided to get my friend Noah to watch it with me. Upon the 2nd viewing, I realized that the true reason Rodrigues Lost his faith is because he never had any to begin with.
