At the time of this video's release, a total Solar Eclipse is just a few days away in the United States. On April 8th, 2024. The next one visible from the continental United States won't occur again for 20 years. In that same amount of time there will be at least 16 total lunar eclipses visible from the continental United States. So, why are solar eclipses so rare and lunar eclipses relatively common?
