The Sun and Moon are the same size and distance. Both shine their own light. What fools many people is that the Moon always shines its light towards the Sun, but it's not a reflection of sunlight. Light would not reflect off a sphere like that. The Moon shows where the Sun is in its rotation over the flat earth so we can gage what time of night it is. These are time pieces from God, just as the star positions tell us the seasons. The Sun, Moon and Stars are much, much smaller than the earth.
