As a side note, many of the farmers that usually show up for Farmer's Market have not been there in the past couple of weeks. I'm wondering if instead of selling their produce and products, they're canning and dehydrating to keep their food for themselves?

One of my adult sons who works at a different grocery store in the area said that if they order 500 of any particular item they do not get that amount anymore - often it is about half of what they ordered or between 250-275 instead of 500. This is just beginning, IMO.
