Gameplay vs graphics is an age old question, provided your ages are only about as long as a console generation. For me, with dark souls, the answer is obviously gameplay. Back when I had a somewhat okay at best dell laptop I could play games like skyrim and starcraft 2, but not dark souls. Well not until I used DSfix to greatly reduce the resolution of the game until the framerate became playable. Thankfully, I have a better computer now and can play dark souls in its glory, but back then with dark souls and its poor optimization on it's PC port I couldn't. Not to mention the horror that was games for windows live! Hehe. Anyways I was feeling a bit nostalgic and decided to play dark souls a bit like I did in the past. Did anyone else resort to such drastic lower resolutions to play this masterpiece of a game?
