This isn't exactly my first practice session with the Forward Inside Mowawk, but fairly close. It's a challenging technique for me. I'm supposed to "open" my hips and shoulders (that is, turn them more to the inside of the turn) before executing the turn, but as soon as I start to do so, I lose balance and have to set the lifted foot down, which means making the turn right then, before my upper body is ready.

Still, it's actually a turn rather than the rather awkward stop I had when I first started.
