NOT FOR KIDS-I Spit on Your Grave 2010 (cc English) Ich spucke auf dein Grab Nicht für Kinde
(cc English) A similar situation happened to me. I was kidnapped & taken across several state lines, kept prisoner for 4 days, repeatedly raped, sodomized, starved & beaten by one man. This man tried VERY HARD to get my 2 year old son. I refused to tell this man where my child was (in daycare). I did not know about pedophile rings & selling of children at that time. I had offers to kill the man afterwards & declined. A few months later after I escaped, I wish I had taken up the offer. He was wanted in 8 states for armed robbery, multiple sexual assault & kidnapping charges. human trafficking, murder & some other charges the Harris County Constable refused to reveal. I'm sure the man has done this to many more victims due to us not being able to find him, may he rot in Hell. Or maybe he met a woman like the one in this movie. My only goal was to get away alive & as far away from him as possible.
Here it is 44 years later & women (as well as men & children) are still treated this way, often without justice. I feel personally that the "controversy" of this movie was the fact that men like this did/do not want women to get any ideas about revenge or justice. They want to continue raping, gang-raping, torturing & murdering whomever they want without consequence. I can say that after my incident, there has only been one man that laid a hand on me since. He tried to make me get an abortion by trying to break my arm & dragging me to the car. What happened? I ran his ass over with the car & turned my pregnant, maternity-dress wearing self into the police. After all, I'm a law-abiding citizen. Result? The police said, "Thanks for stopping by, have a good day." This daddy was lucky to only get a broken leg as a result. I told him later that if he ever touched me again, he wouldn't be so lucky. We broke up, of course.
I Spit on Your Grave is a 2010 American rape and revenge horror film and a remake of the controversial 1978 cult film I Spit on Your Grave (originally titled Day of the Woman).[4] It was directed by Steven R. Monroe, and written by Stuart Morse, based on Zarchi's screenplay from the original film,[5] and stars Sarah Butler, Jeff Branson, Daniel Franzese, Rodney Eastman, Chad Lindberg, Tracey Walter, and Andrew Howard.[6]
It was distributed by CineTel, and produced by the company's president and CEO Paul Hertzberg. Lisa Hansen, Jeff Klein, Alan Ostroff, Gary Needle, and Meir Zarchi (director of the original) served as executive producers. Principal photography began on November 2, 2009, with location filming taking place in Louisiana.
I Spit on Your Grave had its premiere on Texas Frightmare Weekend on May 1, 2010, and was theatrically released in the United States on October 8, 2010, by Anchor Bay. The film received negative reviews from critics and grossed $572,809 on a $2 million budget.
The film was followed by two sequels, I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013) and I Spit on Your Grave III: Vengeance Is Mine (2015).
