Vision NZ: Affirming The Human Rights Of Gender-Steadfast Individuals That Believe In Binary Gender
New Zealanders sharing the Vision NZ Gender-Steadfast organisation and its policies: "This policy affirms the human rights of Gender-Steadfast individuals in New Zealand, who believe in a binary gender system and seek protection from conversion practices. It also supports their right to maintain gender-specific spaces to teach their beliefs to their children, and participate in traditional practices and celebrations that align with their gender identity. .... to affirm and uphold the human rights of Gender-Steadfast New Zealanders, to live free from discrimination, suppression, hate speech and harm. Gender-Steadfast identity is affirmed for our development from the womb and continues through to adulthood. Gender-Steadfast have the right to protection from conversion practices that seek to undermine and harm their beliefs. We maintain that gender specific spaces stay gender specific spaces, including toilets and change rooms ... and assert that only a biological woman can compete in women's sport. Parents in the Gender-Steadfast community have the right to teach Gender-Steadfast identity to their children, without fearing backlash from others and being forced to hide their gender identity beliefs .... "
From Vision NZ Party Leader, Hannah Tamaki:
Welcome To Vision NZ - Vision New Zealand political party was registered with the Electoral Commission on 4 December 2019. Launching this centre-right party just nine months before the 2020 election was a brave and audacious initiative.
Our leader, candidates, members, supporters and volunteers are hardworking Kiwis who value our freedoms, our country, our Kiwi ways and all that makes us unique as New Zealanders. Our party is committed to standing a new breed of politician, men and women with life experience who will put people, not policies or ideology, first. Representatives that will take the voice of the people to the decision-making table in parliament and be those representatives who will not compromise their promises to you, the voter.
Our policies focus on solutions and not symptoms of the problems that currently confound our beautiful nation. We believe in getting to the root cause of New Zealand’s social, justice, economic and commercial problems with back to basics, common sense solutions. That is why our flagship policy is about ‘The Family’. We believe society is a reflection of our homes therefore our Family Policy looks at family and home as the place of origin. If the family is healthy, our nation is better for it. We believe in a strong, vibrant economy where everybody gets an opportunity to flourish, and the government delivers quality public services to everybody.
We believe in the protection and preservation of our natural resources and environment.
~ Hannah Tamaki, Party Leader
