The Machinations remain one of Australia's favourite Pop-Band. On Fri 07.03.24, the Machinations returned to the stage for what is usually a bi-annual reunion to yet another full house at the iconic Bridge Hotel in Rozelle. This Gig was for the Celebration of one of their most successful singles "No Say In It", whilst they did perform all the hits, I managed to capture this impromptu folk/country classic cover which the band borrowed from Willie Nelson. The band were sounding incredibly strong as always and it was nice to see they were able to diversify so well to treat the audience to this great song in tribute to their recently fallen comrade. The Machinations music is still available for download on spotify & iTunes and occassionally on limited edition re-run collectors editions cds at gigs and/or the last of the remaining music stores such as red-eye records in Sydney.
This song "Cars & Planes" is one of the very early singles from the band and has been tipped to be a personal favourite track of the Bands Base Guitarist.

This is a little different to the continuous "Freedom" related content I upload to this channel. Please let me know in the comments section if you would like to see more great Aussie Band performances on this channel - Just trying to shine a little light on the world to show we still have space for celebration irrespective of how crazy things keep getting.
