I think the Kashmiris had a better turn out, and this is London, a remainer heartland. Could it be that most people are absolutely fed up with Ground hog Day Brexit, and just want it done, deal or no deal? No more extensions guys; you've had your fun, but now playtime is over.

I don't know what he thinks that event in 2016 was, but clearly in Wes Streeting World it wasn't a referendum. We are allowed to decide, as long as it is the right kind of vote. People's Vote good, general election bad, unless the electorate makes the wrong decision again, in which case we will all be put on the naughty step and made to go to bed without any dinner.

Jess Phillips, the people who voted for you are not children. They are adults, and it is not your job to protect them. They have the right to make choices about their lives, and you do not have the right to 'protect' them from the imagined consequences of those choices. You are not their parent; you are their representative, and that is all you are.
