In this video, I discuss Jared Bernstein's ill-fated interview, in which he unsuccessfully attempts to explain money printing and MMT (Modern Monetary Theory).

The really tragic part is that central bank money printing disproportionately hurts the working class, which Bernstein has spent his career writing about and trying to help.

Keynesian economics and MMT are both forms of economic pseudoscience whose real purpose is to provide the theoretical justification for huge government interventions in the economy and the theft of private property through inflation and taxes.
