Dr. Kanji Nakatsu - 1-17-24 - The Importance of Vitamin D, and its role in immune system optimizatio

Kanji Nakatsu - At the end of 2017, I retired from Queen's University where I had taught and did research in Pharmacology for 44+ years; this research generated almost 200 peer-reviewed papers. My post-retirement interests led me to vitamin D and ivermectin just around the time that COVID-19 appeared in Canada. Fortunately, I found people who shared my interests, and was able to join CCCA in its early stages. In 2021,my colleagues and I (in the Therapeutic Supply committee), spent many hours/week matching those requiring ivermectin with practitioners who were willing to prescribe and pharmacists who were willing to dispense it. Fortunately, the CCTeleHealth clinic was formed to provide a more efficient way to provide prophylaxis and treatment for COVID-19. Unfortunately, this and other factors resulted in the end or crippling of many careers.
