Is box macaroni and cheese toxic? Lets look at phthalates study

I love macaroni and cheese. Several viewers commented on a recent cooking video I did on macaroni and cheese made in a rice cooker that they thought boxed macaroni and cheese was toxic. Specifically, they blamed phthalates.
I was not aware of this issue so I did some research and to my surprise found out there had been a study indicating nearly all of the box macaroni and cheese that was tested in the study had high levels of this chemical.
The study was not peer reviewed nor was it repeated to see if it was accurate as you would want it to be.
I am providing a link to the study and the article so you can decide. I will continue to eat macaroni and cheese but make it from scratch instead of from the box and not as often because it was a larger part of my diet than it should have been anyway. It's important to eat a wide variety of foods for good health.
