This is a cryptically-worded news release. I searched and can't find any fire in his area lately that was deadly. I'm going out on a limb and saying he died while working out in his home gym, or while mowing the yard. Anything that involved blood flowing.

Per the CDC the VAERS system represents just a fraction of the overall death and injury events.  You should multiply the result by 10 for a more accurate severe event, and by nearly 100 for all events including minor events.
