Babylon is mentioned 260 times in Scripture, and is second in importance only to Jerusalem. Biblically it is viewed as the Devil’s city while Jerusalem is viewed as God’s city. They are always seen in opposition to each other. Babylon is the result of apostasy against God’s plan of salvation, the first international, political and religious ecumenical movement in the history of man, and one which has never ceased to exist in one form or another. Jerusalem is the result of God’s call of a man and a nation to perpetuate His plan of salvation and nationalism for the world.
Rev 17 and 18 worth reading. Is the US Babylon in our age? Very possible, will the actual city of Babylon be rebuilt, could be. DC is just as crooked and perverse as Babylon, that is certain.
They reveal their plans in movies, they desensitize you to accept wicked things as good, they manipulate you with thoughts/feelings/emotions, they plant a thought through a scene that you'll be able to recall and say, 'just like in that movie...', so you can connect the dots in your brain and complete the loop to their wicked scheme of following the pide piper in a trance like state.
This scene of Babylon is intentional, it was put in the movie 'Eternals' on purpose. The Bible has lots to say about 'mystery Babylon' and its role in end times.
In reading how Babylon captured Israel in the book of Jeremiah, what God did through Daniel and his friends in captivity in Babylon (book of Daniel) and how Israel was released and allowed to rebuilt the temple with all of the items Babylon plundered from the temple (book of Ezra). You can simply make the point, God and His people were victorious over Babylon.
For all the mystics out there, yes study Babylon, and study these truths I speak, for all the magic, gods, religions, there is only one supreme God of them all and this was spoken via the mouth of one of Babylon's famous kings Nebuchadnezzar, 'Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble. (Dan 4:37).
Babylon's king Darius also praised God, 'I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel “For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” (Dan 6:26-27)
