I bought mine a few years ago after I got my first scanner radio. Although this is for CB radio. I used it for VHF and UHF receptions as high as ADSB at 1090 MHz. It worked good temporary here in Yonkers, New York. Eventually I bought a Discone antenna for my scanner radios. Not bad for a $16 mag mount antenna.
