I believe many men today don’t know they can be men. Their fathers never affirmed them in their manhood in rites of passage from boy to man. Grown now they go on, unsure, succumbing to all the external pressures because they don’t know they can be men. They can be masculine, they can be strong, they can be assertive, even aggressive. They can look out to the horizon and set goals. Then step on to their path of purpose to fulfill their mission no matter what stands before them, bearing the sacrifices, enduring the cost, regardless of what others think or who may be offended. They can be Men.
