Richard Roeper and Guest Critic, A.O. Scott reviews "Jumper" (Yawn! A Very boring and poorly executed action film with Jedi Masters, Hayden Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson in his worst performance and his worst year for movies. Talented director, Doug Liman had did better movies such as "Swingers", "Go", "The Bourne Identity" and "Edge of Tomorrow". Sometimes, he has some stinkers like "This" and "Chaos Walking" ), "Step Up 2: The Streets" (Okay I admitted! Briana Evigan, Greg's Daughter is hot and her dance moves were sensual and sexy. She was the main reason to see it. But, this sequel felt empty with a flat story and it had some really bad pop songs included with some nice dancing edited down like a music video. It's average and it could have been better. I did however, like the original with Channing Tatum, who makes a cameo appearance in the sequel.), "The Spiderwick Chronicles" (I have it on DVD and I enjoy it unlike Scott and Roeper who both blew it!) and "Definitely, Maybe" (I love this sweet romantic comedy with Ryan Reynols, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Elizabeth Banks and Rachel Weisz!).
Direct To DVD: "Bordertown" and "I Could Never Be Your Woman".
New on DVD: "Michael Clayton", "Rendition", and "Margot at the Wedding". Roeper's pick is "American Gangster: 2-Disc Unrated Extended Version" (I got to find that movie on Blu-ray and 4K UHD someday!) and Scott's pick is "In The Valley of Elah".
Plus, Local Commercials included.
