Son: "we're at school yeah, and we're just hanging out playing Uno (card game) and s*** (stuff) and the teacher says "oh yeah, and we're getting vaccinations today"
Dad: "What do you mean, just out of the blue?"
Son: "Yeah, just out of the blue, and then she said "oh, I didn't even know, oh, but we all have to get it today" and I was like "oh s*** (damn), so that's why... (I called you)..."
Dad: "Did you say, did you tell them you don't want to?"
Son: "Yeah, I told them I didn't need to........ I haven't been vaccinated or that I didn't want it and they said "oh yeah, but today, we all have to get it today" so that's why I called you guys"
Dad: "Yeah, so they weren't having it? They were just like 'nah, you have to (be vaccinated)? There's no choices, no options?"
Son: "Nah"
Dad: "They didn't say we need to consult your parents? Nothing?"
Son: "Yeah, and they just told us today. D'you know how normally they give out notes? Yeah, they didn't do that"
Dad: " Notices, yeah. .....so just a pop-up vaccination clinic and you have to get vaccinated today and no consultation with any parents, we didn't hear anything. Nobody told us s***. That's pretty f***in' cheeky, man. Yeah, good Son for calling us, ae"
Son: "... all the teachers were like: "oh, why're you going?" I was like: "cos I don't wanna get vaxxed and s*** (whatnot)."
Dad: "and what'd they say?"
Son: "They just gave me this disgusting look."
