I know, I know, you’re probably tired of hearing about all the different ways you can improve upon this area of your life…
But, hear me out!😘
You’re already well aware that how you set yourself up in the morning affects your entire day, right?
But did you also know that you could be creating MORE stress by having TOO much structure in your mornings? 🤯
This is especially true if you feel pressured to keep a strict habit and then at some point don’t follow through.
I call bullsh*t on the strictly masculine way of doing things.
😇And I’m here to propose a more feminine approach
I don’t want my morning routine to feel like a chore. Because it’s not.
Thinking our routines need to fit inside some kind of parameters is an outdated approach. And I know we can all do better than that 😉
For starters, let go of the idea that your routine needs to LOOK a certain way.
Focus on how it makes you FEEL instead.
Is it an upbeat morning ritual? Or maybe a slow, sensual ceremony?🌹
Is it long? Short? Somewhere in the middle?
The key is finding what works for you. And not placing any judgement around it.
What you DON’T want is to fall into a societal imposed pattern just because it’s the “right” thing to do.
📝 Pro tip: Make a list of all the things that light you up, give you energy, and bring you joy. Each morning, refer to that list and pick at least one thing you feel like doing at that moment. Or come up with something new in the moment.
Simply listen to your body and do what feels right to you 👏
